This workshop has been designed for:
- D.O.S.s (Directors of Studies),
- S.C.s (School Coordinators),
- E.T.s (English Teachers),
and will be held by MEd. Claudia Ursi, Master in Educational Technology & ELT, Manchester University, UK.
In this workshop, we will work on:
- Theoretical background,
- Tools & tasks,
- Design, implementation and assessment.
In the first week, we will:
- get to know each other,
- learn our way around the campus,
- work on a model for the production of Multimedia Projects in ELT and
- explore some useful Internet-based tools and resources.
In the second week, we will:
- go over some planners, evaluation sheets and rubrics and
- design one task collaboratively, following the previous criteria and using different tools/resources, in our “wiki” room on our virtual campus.
In the third week, we will:
- try the project out in a real setting (if possible) and
- carry out a self/peer evaluation of it.
We will meet on our Virtual Campus through synchronic and asynchronic communication, for 3 weeks. There will be a special V-room for you to socialize, get to know each other and find someone with whom to plan Multimedia Projects with your students, regardless of distance!
Certificates will be issued to those participants who have taken part in 80% of the activities on the campus and have designed tasks following a certain criteria.
The cost of the workshop is AR$ 490 but there is a 10% discount for English & Fun’s Fans.
